Overview

The Opera QEHS is a fully automated confocal microscope, using the Nipkow-disc. It has multiple high-power lasers and is enabled to do multi colour imaging. It has a laser-autofocus and an on-board dispensing unit. It's equipped with 3 cameras having a minimal exposure time of 40ms and can produce up to 100.000 multicolour images per day.

Suitable for Automated high-resolution, high-throughput imaging of thin-bottom microtiter plates (96well, 384well, 1536well).

The on-the-fly image analysis software Acapella runs paralell on 3 CIAs
