Expertise
Die Forschungsaktivitäten am IGW sind sowohl grundlagen- als auch anwendungsorientiert. Als Beispiele für Arbeitsschwerpunkte sind Grubenwasserreinigung, Stabilisotopenanalytik, Tracertechniken, Karsthydraulik, küstennahe Grundwassersysteme und künstliche Grundwasseranreicherung zu nennen. Bei den zugehörigen Untersuchungen kommen – einzeln oder in Kombination – innovative Methoden im Labor, im Gelände und bei Computersimulationen zum Einsatz.
Feldmesstechnik
Schwerpunkte:
- Ermittlung geohydraulischer Parameter über Markierungsversuche und hydraulische Tests (u.a. pneumatische Slug-Tests)
- Durchführung von Infiltrationsversuchen zur künstlichen Grundwasseranreicherung
- Bestimmung von Leitparametern durch repräsentative Probennahme im Grundwasser
Aktuelle Forschungsbereiche:
- Entwicklung und Bewertung innovativer Markierungstechniken
- Bewertung von Brunnen für die Grundwasseranreicherung
