Beschreibung

The hyperspectral imaging (or pushbroom imaging) describes an image recording technique with a spatial and spectral resolution. It combines the advantages of the UV-Vis and near-infrared spectroscopy with the spatial resolution of a line scanner. Based on the movement of the sample or the camera the full spectral information of a 2D image can be acquired. The high recording speed allows also the observation of time-domain phenomena.

All characteristics (bands) in UV-VIS- and near infrared area can be covered. The absorption and fluorescent properties as well as information about the chemical composition can be achieved. An additional data evaluation with the help of multivariate statistics expand the possibilities for utilizations at lower sensitive samples.
