Laser Scanning Confocal Microscope (LSM 780, upright, CRTD) Zeiss Axio Imager

Basic Information

Name: Laser Scanning Confocal Microscope (LSM 780, upright, CRTD)
Manufacturer: Zeiss
Model: Axio Imager
Facility: Light Microscopy (LMF)
Partner: Technische Universität Dresden (TUD)
Inventory number: 82537

Description

Category
Light Microscope
Overview
It is an upright Laser Scanning Confocal microscope with 32 spectral detection channels (GaAsP), 2 PMTs, one Airyscan-detector and one transmission PMT. A selection of objective lenses is listed below, but more are available, too.
Suitable for the detection of multiple fluorescent dyes, FRAP, FRET, optical sectioning for 3D reconstruction, spectral unmixing of overlapping emission spectra, Airyscan super resolution. It can acquire brightfield and DIC images with the transmission detector.
