Description

The IsoleraTM Spektra Four by Biotage is an advanced flash purification system allowing a fast and cost effective isolation of compounds from reaction mixtures. A self-explanatory wizard determines a gradient based on TLC results. Subsequently, the gradient can be freely adapted to further optimize the separation process (e.g. step-gradients). Apart from corrosive solvents there are no restrictions on the used solvents and their quality. Up to four different solvents (quattro-binary gradients) may be used within a single run. An automatic baseline correction allows the detection of weekly absorbing substances even in a strongly absorbing mobile phase. Automated collection in into test tubes (20ml or 50ml) above a chosen absorbance threshold or in collect-all mode. Recognition of not baseline separated peaks results in a fraction change (also manually possible) to achieve maximum purification.
