Das „Dresden Integrated Center for Applied Physics and Photonic Materials“ (DC-IAPP) verfolgt den Zweck, Forschung, Lehre und Transfer auf dem Gebiet der Organischen Elektronik am Standort Dresden zu fördern. Es baut auf der langjährigen interdisziplinären Tradition des im Jahr 1908 gegründeten Wissenschaftlich- Photographischen Instituts der Technischen Universität auf.Zum Zeitpunkt der Errichtung liegt das Schwerpunktthema des Zentrums bei Organischen Halbleitern.

The Dresden Integrated Center for Applied Physics and Photonic Materials (DC-IAPP) bundles the research work on Organic Semiconductors and Photonics at TU Dresden. Researchers from Physics, Chemistry and Electrical Engineering are working at IAPP on fundamentals and applications of this exciting new technology. IAPP also organizes the international Master programme “Organic and Molecular Electronics”, and offers a unique interdisciplinary teaching environment.
