Supporting small companies in the introduction of knowledge management

Basic Information

Name: Supporting small companies in the introduction of knowledge management
Facility: CIMTT Centre for Production Engineering and Organisation (CIMTT)
Partner: Technische Universität Dresden (TUD)

Description

The CIMTT developed the WIM-STEPS process for the systematic implementation of knowledge management in small and medium-sized enterprises in particular. WIM-STEPS is a multi-level analysis procedure that is used to determine the knowledge management requirements in companies. A combination of different structured methods enables a broad spectrum of analysis. The analysis instruments are selected in such a way that a holistic view of knowledge management in the company is possible.
