Description
Characterization of iPSCs:
- ICC for Pluripotency Markers
Immunocytochemistry (ICC) for pluripotency markers typically expressed in iPSCs: OCT4, SOX2, NANOG and TRA-1-60.
- Flow Cytometry for Pluripotency Markers
Flow Cytometry for markers of the undifferetiated state typically expressed in iPSCs: OCT4, SOX2, SSEA-4 and TRA-1-60.
- 96-Gene qRT-PCR Array
Quantitative RT-PCR Array for 96 genes involved in pluripotency, stem cell maintenance, differentiation and house keeping.
- Trilineage Differentiation
Differentiation of iPSC to derivatives of the 3 germ layers: ectoderm, endoderm and mesoderm.
- Karyotyping
Karyotype analysis by Giemsa staining of metaphase chromosomes.
- Mycoplasma Test
PCR test for the most common contaminant in cell cultures - Mycoplasma spp.
- STR Analysis
Short Tandem Repeat (STR) analysis by multiplex PCR for cell line identification.
