Mikroelektrodenarray (60 Kanäle) Multi Channel Systems MEA1060-Inv-BC

Informationen

Name: Mikroelektrodenarray (60 Kanäle)
Hersteller: Multi Channel Systems
Modell: MEA1060-Inv-BC
Einrichtung: Elektrophysiologie Facility (EcrtD)
Partner: Technische Universität Dresden (TUD)
Standort: CRTD

Kurzbeschreibung

A microscope mounted MEA (60 channels) with heat control, superfusion set up, electric and optic stimulation capacity for cell culture probes (2-D or organoid) or acute or organotypic tissue samples

Beschreibung

Application: Recording of extracellular potentials from electrically active tissue samples.

Common read outs of interest:

  • Neuronal action potentials (spontaneous or evoked)
  • Field excitatory postsynaptic potentials (fEPSP)
  • Local field potentials (LFP)

Technical specifications:

  • Gain 1100, signal range: a few tens of µV (detectability depending on background activity) up to +/-3.7 mV
  • 59 recording channels, various electrode sizes and layout configurations available
  • Capacity for electric stimulation at any individual or any combination of electrodes
  • Capacity for optic stimulation (wavelengths (in nm): 470, 513, 580, 640; combinable with the below mentioned filters; intensity scaleable; temporally patterned stimulation possible)
  • Capacity to image the sample from below (objectives: 2x, 4x, 10x, 20x, additional 1.5x magnification)
  • Fluorescence imaging capacity (filters: CFP, GFP, TxRed, Cy5)

Cobinable with:

  • Heat control (internal heating plate (cultures) and inline heater (acute tissue))
  • Superfusion and drainage of fresh solutions
  • Bathapplication of modulators
  • Mechanic stimulation
