The Institute’s Nonlinear Solid Mechanics group maintains strong research interests in modeling and simulation of physically and geometrically nonlinear field problems, computational prediction of effective mechanical properties of heterogeneous materials as well as simulation of metal forming processes and structural components. The combination of research and education guarantee outstanding educational opportunities at our department.
