Our research focusses on dynamical systems and control in a broad sense. A wide range of different model classes is necessary to understand complex phenomena, including nonautonomous differential equations or

• delay differential equations
• random differential equations
• dynamic equations on graphs

Current research topics are e.g.

• spectral theory
• invariant manifolds
• topological and smooth normal forms (Hartman-Grobman and Poincaré theorems)
• stability radii and stabilization
• bifurcation theory and attractors
• transient dynamics and coherent structures

Most results are basic research and can be applied e.g. to models in systems biology or fluid dynamics.
