Research Group on OLEDs

Our work covers electrical and optoelectronic properties of organic thin films. In the focus are doped organic materials to enhance electrical conduction.

We examine both the basic physics of the doping process as well as the application of doped layers in devices. So far, highly efficient p-type doping has been demonstrated in phthalocyanine layers and other hole transporters using the acceptor molecule F4-TCNQ as a dopant.
