Das Institut für Medizinische Informatik und Biometrie (IMB) bietet Beratungen im Bereich der Planung und Auswertung experimenteller und klinischer Studien für Angehörige (Mitarbeiter und Studierende) der Universitätsmedizin (d.h. Medizinischen Fakultät / Universitätsklinikum Carl Gustav Carus) der TU Dresden an. Dieses Beratungsangebot, welches Themen der klassischen Biometrie/Statistik sowie Methoden der Bioinformatik umfasst untergliedert sich in zwei Bereiche:

• Standardberatung (kostenfrei, max. 10 Stunden, „Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe“, keine Übernahme von Berechnungen)

• Beratungsprojekte (kostenpflichtig, individuelle Betreuung, Umfang entsprechend der getroffenen Vereinbarungen)

The Institute offers consultation to the field of planning and evaluation of experimental and clinical studies/research projects to member (staff and students, Carl Gustav Carus Faculty of Medicine/University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus) of the TU Dresden and external customers (consulting projects only).

This consultation services, includes topics which classical biometrics/statistics and bioinformatics methods is divided into two areas:

• Standard advice (free, max. 10 hours, "helping people help themselves", no acquisition of calculations)
• Consulting projects (commercial, individual care, according to the scope of agreements)
