Short Description
The instrumentation consists of two BELSORP-max volumetric Adsorption instruments, which allow to perform the physisorption measurements on the porous materials using non-corrosive gases and vapours.
Description
Measurement principle: Volumetric adsorption method
Adsorptive: N2, Ar, Kr, CO2, H2, O2, CH4, C2H6, C3H8, C4H10 and other non-corrosive gases (H2O, MeOH, EtOH, iso-PrOH, BuOH, CH2Cl2, CHCl3, CxHy)
Analysis port:
- standard mode (p/p0 = 10-4 – 0.997) : 3 ports
- High accuracy mode (p/p0 = 10-4 – 0.997) : 2 ports
- High accuracy mode (p/p0 = 10-8 – 0.997) : 1 port
Specific surface area:
- 0.01 m2g-1 and above (N2 / 77 K, Ar / 87 K)
- 0.0005 m2g-1 and above (Kr / 77 K)
Pore size distribution: 0.35 – 500 nm in pore diameter
Minimum resolvable pressure: 1.6x10-6 Pa
Sample cell: ~ 1.8 cm3
