Expertise
We are convinced that the preservation and the extension of competences in the field of nuclear technology is vital to ensure the security of nuclear reactors in the present and the future on a national and international scale.
Therefore, we focus our teaching and research activities on nuclear technology and nuclear security enhancement of reactors in Germany as well as in other parts of the world, and contribute to the evolution of future reactor systems.
We are especially concerned with the improvement of inherently safe High Temperature Reactors in order to accomplish a sustainable production of hydrogen as well as high temperature process heat for industrial processes.
