Expertise
The Genome Engineering Facility will provide a platform for high throughput transgenesis in the main model organisms used in the Institute (mammalian cells, C. elegans, Drosophila and zebrafish).
Services include:
- High-throughput recombineering of genomic DNA constructs (BACs, fosmids) for tag-based protein localization and purification
- Central storage of the generated transgenic resources
- Protocols, advice and support for all applications of recombineering
