Expertise

Our research is focused on the design of intermetallic Heusler compounds for multipurpose applications.

Our group covers the complete chain from materials development based on  theory, the  synthesis of bulk materials and  thin films towards new applications. The fundamental characterization of  transport properties under  high pressure as well as  spectroscopic analytics such as HAXPES or  Mössbauer spectroscopy support us in this purpose.
