The CENTER FOR INTEGRATED NATURAL MATERIALS TECHNOLOGY (ZINT) is a consortium of chairs of the Dresden University of Technology dealing with the production and the processing of natural raw materials.

Knowledge, methods and processes of the fields of chemical-biological substance conversion including by-product-, waste-, and energyminimization as well as material recovery and utilization get connected with the state of art of traditional industrial sectors which use or process natural materials.

Such an interdisciplinary network makes integrated natural materials technology, namely the production, the processing and the process design with substances and material from nature, possible.

The field of application especially lies in the integrated production and processing of natural raw material, in novel basic materials made from natural materials as well as in biotechnological and chemical-technological extraction and conversion processes.
